Weather at 8 am: covered

At 9 am the convoi to Little Dome C (LDC) left Dome Concordia Station. It consisted of a PB300Caterpillar train pulling the living and generator module, and the sledge with the wood for the BELDC drilling tent, plus a PB300 pulling a storage container. At km 5 PB300 experienced power loss and was replaced by a PB300/cabin from DC. LDC was reached at 1.40 pm.

The modules were placed at LDC and made operative. The PB300/cabin returned to DC. The tent area was flattened by PB. The inflatable Radix tent (7m x 7m) was erected and anchored. Two modules (repair and generator), and the gasoline tank were transported from the Alabama site about 3 km away to LDC.
