The most important scientific questions for the Beyond EPICA ice core project in the Physical properties consortium are:
● How can we use physical properties (e.g. di-electrical, stratigraphic, microstructure) to assist reaching the integrity of the core?
● Can we use microstructure to learn about disturbances by flow and deformation such as folding as well as diffusion/mixing?
