Scientific Consortia

.... are groups of researchers who together carry out particular analyses or topics of study within Beyond EPICA. Fourteen consortia have so far been identified and formed. These groups are platforms to exchange ideas, share expertise, research tools, ice samples, data and facilities, and to define key science goals for the future. Overall they include nearly 200 researchers. Scientific Consortia closely interact with WP and Task leaders for the implementation of the project and provide the scientific output and exploitation to achieve the WP deliverables. The scientific consortia elect consortia (co-)chairs to steer the consortia activities and report to the WP leaders.
