Disappointing drilling continues; pizza night cheers us up

Another day of struggling to make progress with the drilling – we are still failing to find a drill configuration that penetrates the ice. We’re all a little puzzled now.

But Saverio suggested pizzas for dinner tonight, so we made the most of the occasion by ending one shift 30 minutes early and starting the next a little late in order that we could all eat together. Nothing like a pizza in company for raising morale!
