Slow Sunday-morning start to the day; Sunday afternoon drive in the PistenBully

As it was Sunday morning, we started the drilling little later, but made six good long runs by the end of the day, all over 3 m in length, to finish with nearly 21 m of core and break through the 600 m mark.

During the afternoon, while not drilling, Martin and Robert took the PistenBully to set up a further two geophysics survey sites. Martin is our drone pilot and takes some great aerial photos and videos.

End of day statistics:

Individual runs of the drill were recorded as: 3.33, 3.24, 3.50, 3.48, 3.55, 3.51 m

  • Drillers’ depth: 602.49 m; daily total 20.75 m
  • Loggers’ depth: 606.41 m; daily total 20.44 m
