Yesterday evening we enjoyed a nice pizza party at LDC. Which was probably our last Saturday at LDC. This morning we continue drilling in shift, getting again cores longer than 4 meters.

Processing is going well and another 33m have been analyzed and made ready for shipment to Europe.

What we did today at LDC:

  • drilling in shift;
  • processed 33 ice cores.

  • Driller’s depth: 1708.44 m;
  • we made 4 drilling runs between this morning 11h and 19h30 today. The length of the cores was: 4.43, 4.5, 4.44 and 4.49 (driller length), for a total of 17.86 meters.
  • Logger’s depth:-- m.
  • Current processing depth: 1668 m; daily total: 33 m; season total: 1345 m.
