Beyond EPICA Executive Committee meeting took place at the Istituto Veneto di Scienze, Lettere e Arti, in Venice. During this meeting, the scientific and logistic personnel of Beyond EPICA project presented the goals achieved by the project during the last field season: the team completed the field camp installation, set up the drilling area reaching a depth of 130 metres, completed the temporary storage cave, and installed the complex drilling system. They also discussed the next steps for the Beyond EPICA field season in 2022/2023, when the team will work on a final testing of the drilling system and then proceed to conduct deep drilling.

The Executive Committee Meeting of Beyond EPICA project (BE-OI EXCOM) was held on  13rd October 2021 in hybrid mode, both in presence during the “Beyond EPICA Science Consortia and EXCOM meeting” in Gif-sur-Yvette (France) and online through GoToMeeting platform.
