Today, as the great day. First few runs have been made in the LDC Camp. They were very successful, although some fine tuning had to be carried out. Ancillary programs are also continuing in Concordia; Markus and Florian have set the cold lab and they are ready to analyse and cut the first 130 m drilled last year.

What we did today:

- prepared drill head

- adjusted superbanger

- arranged small items in the drill tent

- undertook one run with the 2 m drill: core barrel full: 30 cm of chips, 175 cm of core, new core approx. 66 cm

- logged the core

- recovered the solar radiation monitors from the snow

- first photographic run along the photogrammetry array
